It has been unseasonably warm here still. Yesterday I looked at the weather for Portland, which appears to be in the 50-60° range, while today it is a relatively sweltering 85° here in Central PA. Autumn is my favorite season and I like it to be appropriately filled with chilly (but sunny) days, and a thick layer of orange/red/brown leaves on the ground. Warmth here is always accompanied by a disgusting feeling of sweat in the air, so while I may appreciate a good heat in the west, I find it rather unappealing here. It almost makes me look forward to days like the one in the picture (February 2007).
